Now things are getting better at home, High Commissioner tells Nigerian traders in Ghana

Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Olufemi Abikoye, has assured Nigerian traders in Ghana that the Nigerian economy was now in a good shape.

According to Ghanaweb, Abikoye said this over the weekend during an interaction with members of the Nigeria Union of Traders Association, Ghana, in Kumasi.

Abikoye said, “Things are getting better in Nigeria, I can assure you. And I don’t see any reason why we should not be proud of Nigeria.”

He added, “Anywhere in the world when you hear any two black men making an achievement, it is either the two are Nigerians or at least one other is Nigerian.

It would be recalled that Nigeria has closed his land borders since August and Ghanaian businesses have been lamenting the effect of the closure on their trade.
